Accounting & integrations

Keep the tools that still make sense.

Bring your day-to-day operations into Mavos and keep the accounting system your business relies on. Connect directly to Xero, or hand over your sales through a journal export.

Use Xero? Connect directly.

Connect your Xero organisation, map accounts and tax rates, and send daily sales into your accounting workflow.

  • Daily sales as a manual journal or sales invoice
  • Account, tax and tracking mappings
  • Company defaults and location-specific connections
  • Scheduled sync, history, retries and backfill

Another accounting system?

Export sales journals for an accounting package that accepts journal imports. Keep the accounting process that works for your bookkeeper.

  • Journal CSV export from Mavos sales
  • A practical hand-off to your accountant or bookkeeper
  • Check account codes, tax treatment and required columns against your software’s import format

Journal import formats vary. We’ll help assess the mapping your accounting system needs during setup.

The essential connections

Payments, messages
and your own domain.

Some connections simply help the business run. They sit behind the experience, configured for your setup.

Take payments.

Online payments, supported payment terminals and recurring membership billing run on Stripe, through Mavos Payments or your own Stripe account. Choose which account takes each kind of payment; payouts go to your bank either way.

Keep people informed.

Configured email and SMS providers support customer messages, campaigns and operational notifications.

Make it yours.

Managed custom domains and SSL put your website and ordering experiences at an address customers recognise.

Need a particular connection?

Start with the workflow.

Tell us what needs to move between systems. For custom work, Mavos provides a scoped API and signed webhooks.

Do we have to change accounting software?

No. Xero has a direct connection. For another accounting package, check whether it accepts journals and what import format it requires; the Mavos journal export can be mapped into that process.

Can different locations connect to different Xero organisations?

Yes. Set a company default and configure location-specific organisation connections where needed, with the appropriate account and tax mappings.

Who checks the accounting setup?

Review account codes, tax rates, tracking and export or sync preferences with the person responsible for your books. The right mapping depends on how your business accounts for its sales.
