Choosing a look with theme templates

Browse ready-made looks for QR ordering, kiosks, menu screens, and your POS, preview them with your own menu, and apply one in a click.

Mavos ships a gallery of professionally designed looks — called theme templates — covering the three kinds of screens your customers and staff see: QR & kiosk ordering, menu displays, and the POS register. You pick a template, preview it with your own products and brand colours, and apply it in one click. Everything a template installs stays fully editable afterwards.

Where to find the gallery

Go to Settings → Themes. The page has two tabs:

  • Gallery — every template, grouped under QR & Kiosk, Menus, and POS. Each card shows a live mini-preview rendered with your real menu items and brand palette (new accounts see sample items until products are added).
  • My Themes — the themes installed on your account: what each one is the default for, where it's used, and buttons to edit, delete, or create missing defaults.

Previewing and applying a template

  1. Open Settings → Themes and pick a surface tab.
  2. Click a template card for a full-screen preview.
  3. Click Apply and choose where it goes:
    • Set as the default look for one or more app types — every app of that type without its own explicit theme picks it up immediately.
    • Apply to a specific app — only that app changes.

Templates use your brand colours and font from Settings → Branding, so the same template looks like your business, not a stock design.

Re-applying and editing

Applying a template installs ordinary themes you can edit like any other (in My Themes or from the app builder). One thing to know: re-applying a template resets any edits you made to that template's themes — the confirmation dialog reminds you before it happens.

During setup

New accounts choose their look inside the setup wizard — the Choose your look step suggests a template trio matched to your industry and creates your first apps (POS register, online ordering page, and menu) with it. See the setup checklist.

Tips

  • Menu templates include looks tuned for wall-mounted TVs (big type, auto-cycling pages) and for printing — the multi-column classic prints beautifully straight from the browser.
  • POS templates trade off tile size against how many products fit on screen: compact text tiles for big menus, large photo tiles for touch-friendly simplicity.
  • Changed your brand colours? Templates follow your palette automatically — no need to re-apply.
