Quizzes and onboarding
Generate knowledge-check quizzes from wiki pages, build onboarding paths, and track staff progress.
Quizzes and onboarding
Wiki pages aren't just reference material — they can double as training content. You can generate a short quiz from any published page to check that staff have actually read and understood it, then chain pages together into an onboarding path for new hires.
Generating a quiz
Open a published page and choose Generate quiz. The AI reads the page and writes a short set of questions covering its key points. The quiz is created as a form, so before it goes live you review the questions the same way you'd review any form — check they make sense, adjust wording, remove or add questions — then turn it on.
If a page changes and you regenerate its quiz, the new version needs the same review before it's enabled again — an old, unreviewed quiz never stays live by accident.
Taking a quiz
Once enabled, the quiz appears directly underneath its article for anyone reading the page. Staff answer it in place, without leaving the page. Results are recorded against that person and that page — score, whether they passed, and how many attempts it took.
Limiting retakes
When you set up a quiz, you can optionally cap how many times someone can attempt it and/or set a cooldown period between attempts (in minutes). Leave either setting blank for no limit. Once someone reaches the attempt limit, they'll see a message asking them to check with a manager rather than the quiz itself. If a cooldown is active instead, they'll see how long until they can try again.
Onboarding paths
An onboarding path is an ordered list of wiki pages (and their quizzes) that a new starter works through — for example "Front of house induction": welcome → uniform & presentation → till basics quiz → allergy procedures quiz. Some steps can be marked so staff must pass the quiz before the next step unlocks, so people can't skip ahead of material they haven't understood.
Owners and space admins build paths from the Onboarding page, picking pages from the wiki and putting them in order.
Assigning staff
Assign a path to a staff member from the same Onboarding page — either one at a time, or automatically: when a company sets it up, new starters can be assigned the default onboarding path the moment they join, with no manual step required. You can also assign a path to several people at once — with an optional due date — from the Training dashboard (see below).
You don't need to build a page from scratch to add it to a path, either: from any page, open the ⋯ menu and choose Add to onboarding path… to slot it into an existing path (optionally marking it as requiring a quiz pass before the next step unlocks) without leaving the page.
My onboarding
Everyone with an assignment sees their own progress on the My onboarding page: which steps are done, which are in progress, and what's next. Managers see a progress view across every assigned staff member, so it's easy to spot who's stuck and needs a nudge.
Training dashboard
Owners and admins get a company-wide view of training status from the Training page: a grid with every staff member down the side and every onboarding path across the top, so you can see at a glance who's assigned, in progress, overdue, or done — with their percentage complete for each path. Click a person's name to expand their quiz history: which pages they've completed, how many attempts each took, and their best score.
From the same page you can assign a path to any number of people in one go, and export the whole grid as a CSV file — handy for compliance records or sharing with a manager who doesn't need wiki access.
Reminder emails
Staff who haven't finished an overdue onboarding step get an automatic reminder — both in the wiki and by email — so onboarding doesn't quietly stall out. Being assigned a new path also sends an email letting the staff member know what they've been assigned and when it's due, if a due date was set.
