Getting started with your website

Find your way around the website builder — the Home dashboard, the site picker, and where everything lives.

Your website is a full site builder with your products, bookings and gift cards wired in, so a visitor can browse, book or buy without leaving the page. It's a separate area of Mavos with its own navigation — open it from your admin, under Website.

Home

Opening your website lands you on Home — a dashboard for that one site.

  • New site — Home leads with a setup checklist (publish your first page, set a header and footer, connect a domain, and so on). Work through it in any order; each step links straight to where you do it.
  • Established site — once your site has real visitors, the checklist collapses to a single line and Home fills in with visitors/pageviews/orders for the last 30 days, AI recommendations you can apply or dismiss, anything that needs attention (like an unpublished change or an SEO issue), and a feed of recent activity.

Either way, Build the whole thing with AI sits right on Home — see The AI Copilot for what that does.

If you manage more than one site

A site picker sits at the top of the sidebar. It lists every site for the company with a status dot, click it to switch, and it has Create a new site and Manage all sites at the bottom. If you only have one site, you'll rarely need it.

Finding your way around

The sidebar is grouped by the kind of work:

  • ContentPages (your list of pages), Library (reusable sections, headers and footers — see Headers, footers and your library), Media, Categories, Navigation, and Design (colours, fonts and your brand voice — see Design and brand voice).
  • AI Copilot — chat with the AI to build or change your site. See The AI Copilot.
  • Insights — Analytics, SEO audit, Experiments, Suggestions and Subscribers.
  • Settings — site name and language, Domains, Redirects, AI behaviour, Analytics configuration, and the Audit log.

Creating your first page

From Pages, use Create a page with AI and describe what you want — or start with New blank page and build it by hand. See Pages and the page editor for how editing works once a page exists.
