Design and brand voice

Your website's colours, corner style and brand voice follow your admin branding automatically — override any single one and revert it whenever you like.

Design is where your website's look and voice live: colours, corner style (sharp vs rounded), fonts, and your brand voice — who you are, who you're talking to, and the words you use.

Colours and corners follow your admin branding

Your website's colours and corner style aren't set separately by default — they follow the branding you've already set up under Settings → Branding. Change your primary colour or your Brand accent in admin branding, and your website picks it up automatically, without opening Design at all.

Every colour (and the corner style) on the Design page shows one of three states:

  • From admin — following your admin branding right now.
  • Default — not overridden, but admin branding hasn't set this one yet, so the website's own built-in default is showing.
  • Overridden — you've set this one specifically on the website, so it no longer follows admin branding. A Revert link puts it back.

Change any colour yourself and it becomes Overridden for that field only — every other colour keeps following admin branding, so a later change to your main brand colours still reaches your website everywhere you haven't specifically overridden it. A summary line above Save tells you how many fields currently differ, with Revert all to admin settings if you want to start following admin branding again completely.

Fonts stay separate

Your website's fonts, spacing, buttons and background style are chosen here and don't follow your admin branding — so you can give your website its own typographic feel without it changing your receipts, kiosks or ordering screens, and vice versa.

Brand voice

Under the same page, your brand voice, target audience, tone keywords and key messages also follow your company's brand brief by default, with the same From admin / Default / Overridden badges and per-field revert. The AI reads these whenever it writes copy for your site, so filling them in (or letting them follow what you've already written in admin) helps every AI-generated page sound like you.
