Links and QR codes

Create reusable links and table codes, change their destinations, and share them on your own domain.

One place for your links

Open Links & QR codes from the main menu. Use Workspace to choose company-wide links or a location. Owners and admins can manage company-wide links; managers can manage their permitted locations.

Create one link or a whole set

  1. Choose Create links.
  2. Choose an app, website, form, published guide or any web address. Select the destinations you need.
  3. For table codes, choose an ordering app and tick the tables, or choose All tables for the selected apps. You can prefill the order type too.
  4. Choose Personalise. Leave the name blank to use each destination or table name automatically. Optionally add a group, logo and text for your QR signs.
  5. Choose Review links, check the names and destinations, then create them.

Each selected destination gets its own address, QR code and usage history. Large sets run in the background, with progress shown on the links page. For external destinations, Import a spreadsheet of links accepts a CSV with name and URL columns, plus optional alias and category columns.

Change a destination

Choose Edit beside a link. Select the new destination, table or order type, review it, and save. Existing shared addresses and printed QR codes keep working. Table links follow the selected table when you rename it. Use a table label override only when you want different text passed to the ordering app.

Optional controls

  • Group helps organise table signs, campaigns or other sets.
  • Memorable address adds a readable alias. For bulk names or aliases, use {name} for each destination's name or {number} for its position in the set.
  • Availability can limit a link to a schedule, start date or expiry date.
  • Backup destination sends visitors somewhere useful when the original destination is unavailable, paused, removed or expired.
  • Guided URL options add campaign labels and supported app options without changing the permanent sharing address.

Use your own domain

  1. Open Settings → Integrations → Company domains.
  2. Connect your main domain or a subdomain to a website or application. Follow the DNS instructions and verify ownership.
  3. Once the domain is live, open Settings → Links & QR codes and choose the company-wide workspace.
  4. Select the verified domain and enable it for links. The usual address is yourbusiness.com.au/go/abc123; an alternative path is available if your website already uses that path.
  5. Choose the domain as your default sharing address and save.

Your website can stay at the main address while links use their own path. Keep a domain connected for as long as printed codes use it. Changing the preferred sharing address affects new copies and downloads; it does not rewrite codes already printed.

Downloads and reporting

Copy a link, download an individual QR image, or select several rows to download a set or print signs. Choose Analytics & history to see visits, trends, available conversion reporting and past edits. Reports update after processing; visits can come from clicks or scans.
