Sending a campaign
Build a campaign in four steps, preview it, send yourself a test, then approve and send or schedule it.
Sending a campaign
Go to Campaigns and press New campaign. The builder has four steps. You can click any step you've already reached to go back to it, and Save and close keeps your draft for later.
1. Who
Give the campaign a name and pick an audience. Not sure what to say? Describe your goal and press Draft for me to have Ma fill in a first draft you can change.
2. Message
Choose Email, SMS or both, pick a template, and write the subject, button text and link. You can add an offer, such as 15% off, and each customer gets their own code.
Press Preview to see the message with sample details, or Send me a test to get it in your own inbox or phone. Tests only ever go to you.
Want to compare two versions? Press Test a second version. Your customers are split between them and you can see which did better.
3. When
Send straight away, at a set time, on a repeating schedule (for example every Thursday at 9am), or as reminders before an event. If you're running paid ads, this is also where you set a budget.
4. Check & send
Review the summary and the checks against your limits. Then press Check and approve and choose:
- Approve and send now (or Approve and schedule) to approve and send in one go. You'll see how many people it's going to first.
- Approve only to approve it now and send it later from the campaign page.
Once approved, the campaign appears on the Calendar.
Finding campaigns later
Use the tabs (All, Drafts, Scheduled, Sent, Archived) and the search box. From the list you can Duplicate a campaign to reuse it, or Archive one you no longer need. Archived campaigns can be restored.
