Calculators & estimates
Build a calculator that gives customers an instant estimate, see it update as you edit, and handle the enquiries it sends.
Calculators & estimates
Open Forms → Calculators & estimates to see your calculators. Choose New calculator to start one:
- From a template. Pick an example, such as catering, give it a name and choose Create and edit. Templates contain example prices and assumptions, so check them before you publish.
- Copy from your website. Copy a calculator you already saved to your website's library. The copy is separate: changing it doesn't change the website's version.
The editor
The editor has three tabs.
Set up lists the steps on the left: Heading, Products, Values, Questions and Results. Click a step to jump to it. On a wide screen the preview on the right updates a moment after each change, so you can see the result your customers will get. On a smaller screen, choose Preview.
Enquiries controls whether customers can send their estimate to you, what the enquiry asks for, and the stages each enquiry moves through. Stages show as chips: type a name and choose Add, use the arrows to reorder them, or remove one. The first stage is always "open". The number next to the tab shows enquiries from the last 30 days that nobody has marked reviewed.
Test keeps example answers with the results you expect. They're checked before you publish.
To replace the whole setup with a template, open the ⋯ menu and choose Start again from a template. Enquiry settings and stages stay, and Undo brings back your previous setup.
Choose Save draft to keep your changes without changing the live calculator, and Publish to update it. Once it's live, choose Share for its link, QR code and website code.
