Checks

Schedule a form to repeat, see what is due today, and start each check from the Checks page or the Calendar.

Checks

A check is a form your team fills in on a schedule, such as fridge temperatures every four hours or an opening checklist each morning. Open Forms → Checks to see them.

Today

The Today tab groups the day's checks so the next job is obvious:

  • Overdue: the check's time has passed and nobody has filled it in. Checks left open from yesterday are listed here too.
  • Due now: the check is open. Press Start to fill it in.
  • Later today: the check opens later. You can press Start early up to 30 minutes before it opens.
  • Done: when it was filled in, and whether it was a staff member or an automatic reading.

When you submit the form from Start, the check is marked done straight away. If you open the form some other way, such as from a QR code on the fridge, Mavos still matches it to the check that is due now at that time.

This week shows the next seven days, one day at a time, with how many checks are done.

Scheduling a form

Managers can press Schedule a form:

  1. Choose a published form. Give the schedule a name if you like, and choose a location or leave All locations.
  2. Choose how it repeats: Once a day at a time, Every few hours between two times, or Some days at a time on the days you pick.
  3. Check the preview, which lists the times the checks will be due, then press Create schedule.

Checks are created for the week ahead automatically.

Schedules

The Schedules tab lists every schedule in plain words, for example "Every 4 hours, 6:00 am–10:00 pm". From each one you can:

  • Reminders: email people when a check is due or overdue, or fill it in automatically from connected sensor readings.
  • Pause or Resume it.
  • Delete it. Checks already done, and their answers, are kept.

In the Calendar

Every check also shows in the Calendar and in your Today panel at its due time, so it sits alongside shifts, bookings and tasks. Late checks are titled Overdue and missed ones Missed. Opening a check from the Calendar opens the form for that check.
